We checked in early, so we had no wait at all. The staff was very friendly and reminded us that our roomkeys work as fastpass at the parks (which is really nice by the way because they don't get marked so you can go on any ride as much as you want to and there is hardly any wait).
The room was very clean and tidy, and the bed is so comfortable!
The parks are so close, you can walk or take the water taxi. We'll stay there again. -

You need not to ask for a pen. You can write your name in the dust on the furniture. Bring a few extra light bulbs since the lamps did not have bulbs. You need to check thru the closets and drawers to make sure housekeeping disposed of the last occupants personal items such as chewing tobacco and gum wrappers. The glasses are were dirty and the toilet was broke. Your personal effects will be removed from the pool area should you briefly leave the lounge area to take your child to your guestroom bathroom since the ADA accessible one at the pool was not ADA accessible, you pool items will be thoughtlessly thrown into a dirty plastic garbage bag by the staff. If you like childrens menus, all of the hotel restaurants(except Choup chop) provide a "cheap" childrens menu, the highly recommended childrens buffet consists of hard hail sized chicken nuggets and pizza so hard you would think it belonged to you childs rubber play set. (luckily, children do get two sets of teeth). do not arrive at the breakfast buffet hungry since there was a mimimal wait of 10-15 so when your hungry little munchkins want to eat you will take them upstairs to the Orchid Lounge for @$10 a person for cereal and juice hope your styrofoam plate does not stick to the grim on the glass tables Also, if you have special needs or requests do not expect it to be taken seriously. The staff will yes yes yes yes you until you just give up. Check your plane ticket to remind yourself your vacation is almost over. Thank heavens the area is so entertaining until you get back to the hotel and remember, you are actually payed for this dump

Ive been to Universal multiple times in my life but I never stayed at one of there hotels. My girlfriend and I wanted a quick getaway and boy did we get it. The hotel staff was great, the hotel was beautiful and the express passes to the theme parks even made it better. I also loved the fact I didnt need a car. There is a boat that takes you from your hotel to the parks for free. Of course Florida is pricey, but it was all worth it.

From the moment we walked in the people at the front desk were smiling and pleasant. We were here on our honeymoon and on our third night after a day out we returned to our room to find a bottle of Champaign and Chocholate covered strawberries out of the blue. A very nice touch and they were from the young lady who had checked us in three days earlier. The people at the restaurants were very friendly and personable and seem to really care that we were happy. The view and the pool are incredible. It's a very short walk or romantic boat ride to City Walk to some very cool restaurants and clubs. Very Very Very satisified customers and we will be going back.
