  Everything about the hotel was just right for a stay for myself and my 17 turning 18- year- old daughter. The early access to the parks and the express pass with the hotel key made for a no-line experience every day we were there. If you are visiting Wizarding World, this is the place to stay. The water taxi was a plus and the hotel restaurants had good food, service and price. We loved it!

  We stayed here for 2 days Jan 1 and 2. Room was clean, well appointed. This is our 3rd time at a Universal Hotel, the other two times at Portofino. The Royal Pacific is the closest to the parks, so very easy to walk over the City Walk. Also really love Tchoup Tchoup, always go here when we area at Universal. We did not eat at any other restaurants etc. We did sit in the lounge for a while in the afternoon and there was no bartender available. Not sure why. I would definitely stay here again.

  Clean and comfortable rooms, very friendly front desk staff. Beautiful grounds and easy access to the parks. The only real negative is Emeril's restaurant, which is located on the premises. Tchoup Tchoup was horrible. Overly salted and tasteless food. Expensive. If you avoid Tchoup Tchoup, your visit to the Royal Pacific should be a pleasant surprise.

  I booked this hotel for one night to take advantage of the perks : early entry, seperate line pass, and walking distance to the park. Although the room price was on the expensive side, it was definately worth it. We were able to enter Harry Potter world early which saved us so much time. The hotel itself was beautifully decorated and the pool was quite large.

  We stayed the week before Christmas 2011. Staying onsite was the best decision we could have made. Not only were the rooms nice and clean, the staff was very accommodating and the restaurants served us well. Even though it was cool (40's at night), the outdoor pool was warm enough to swim. The best part, though, was the Express Pass as part of the resort stay. Express pass is around $* per day per person if you purchase it seperately. Being able to see the Wizarding World of Harry Potter for over an hour each day without the crowds (early entrance for those staying on the resort) made our vacation out of this world! Also, not standing in lines was priceless. We visited Universal 10 years ago with a 4 and 7 year old. Now we have gone with a 14 and 17 year old. Universal is better for older kids (overall). We stayed busy for three full days, and then just revisited our favorites on the fourth day. Also, we travelled in August 10 years ago. I will never again go in the summer. The resort and parks are breathtaking at Christmas.
