I have stayed here before and we love it! The staff is friendly especially Amanda out by the pool bar! She actually watched my personal stuff while I was away from the pool without asking her. If you need a car rental don't bother shhopping just go to Hertz in the main lobby and ask for Derek or Sarah. They were great and gave me a good rate! As usual the drinks and food are a bit pricey but the quality and taste are good. The express pass to all the rides and early park admission is worth the extra money. Over all I am very happy and would highly recommend staying here.

This hotel was nice and clean. Some of teh workers were a little unhelpful and rude. We had a overnight package that arrived and it was sent to the business center on the other side of the hotel in a sepeartye building. When my husband went to get it, he didn't realize how far away it was and on top of that she gave him really bad directions. He finally found it 35 minutes later, and it was closed. He walked back to the front desk to confront the girl for sending him on a wild goose chase and all she could do was look at her watch and say Oh yeah it's closed. On top of that they charged us a 5.00 delivery fee. They charge extra for everything. Internet service in your room cost 15.00 a night if you use it in the lobby it's free. Refrigerators in your room are extra, 15.00 a night. WE were swimming in the pool and the lifegueard was yelling for everyone to get out of the pool and then he made the comment as I was walking by, that he doesn't get to go home until we all get out of the pool. There was another boat guy that refuseed to wait for us to catch the boat to the park. As we were talking to him he looked at us ignored us and walked away and drove the boat off. The restaurants did not have prices and everything was very expensive to eat. The menus were coded with numbers but unless you asked you had no idea what the cost was.

I have stayed at another Universal Hotel (The Hard Rock) prior to my stay at the Royal Pacific. I was a bit surprised at the difference between the two hotels. I have come to expect better results when I pay for it. The Royal Pacific Resort did not deliver in that respect. Problems ranging from housekeeping slamming doors, Front desk having problems saving my credit card info, to no hot water, left me wondering why I stayed there. Maybe I caught them at a bad time, but that won't be an issue on any future returns to Universal. I will stay at another hotel.

Great place to stay. Staff is friendly and efficient. Room (including bathroom) was extremely clean. Pool and arcade were great for the kids. Very convenient if you're going to Universal/ City Walk. Great Florida resident discount. The hotel restaurant was fairly pricey, especially for breakfast, but that's to be expected when you go away. That said, the food quality was excellent and they were very accommodating for our dietary restrictions (gluten free). I would definitely recommend to a friend or family member.

It was great that I only had to walk a short distance to go to the park. Even though it was very hot when we went it was easy to walk back and forth several times throughout the day. I also loved the covenience of the water taxi!
