My wife and I stayed here over the weekend to see the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and we were not disappointed with this hotel. Short walking distance to CityWalk and the parks. Loved the "front of the line" perks the hotel gives you, as well as going in an hour early to see Harry Potter. The only downside of the hotel is like all the others in this area, alcohol is VERY expensive. I would have liked to purchase a wine package or something similar to save on drinks. A word of advice, make sure you look at the bill before tipping because the 18% gratuity is automatically added. The hotel is very well-kept, the pool was large and very nice, and the sushi bar is a great quiet place to go at night after an evening of partying! Staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast buffet was also impressive. I highly recommend this resort hotel if going to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Excellent place!

Everything was fine except for my kids not being able to get an Ice Cream from the Bulla Ice Cream Bar. This was never open and I could never get any of the servers to help. However, I would not hold this against the excellent facilities and the friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is a bit more pricey than others in the area, but were impressed with everything and will never stay off site again. Walking distance to City Walk is approximately an 8 minute journey or jump on the water taxi for a relaxing ride. Variety of places to dine, drink and be entertained at City Walk. The ease of accessibility to the parks made the days pleasant because we could go back to the hotel and eat a little, swim a little and then return for more play time on the rides! Mears Transportation picked us up from the airport and we arrived several hours early and our room was ready. Stayed at Club Level, which is on the 7th floor and was very extraordinary! The staff was amazing; very service orientated. Starbucks coffee is available all day in the club room along with other beverages plus food four times daily. Food items varied and was always plentiful. Early evening free wine and/or beer. The room was a decent size and the bed was cozy. The refrigerator in the room is kept locked and available at cost. I am told internet is an additional cost as well, but I didn’t go there for the internet. In the club room there are two computers/printers to access airline sites for boarding passes. Excellent swimming pool area with many loungers, cabanas, bar, dining, pool table and other games, kiddy pool, whirlpool, towels, ice water, activities for children; one of the best pools I have ever been in! There is a nice gift store near the pool offering a variety of clothing and swim suits along with other essentials. The indoor game room has air hockey, guitar hero and several other simulators. Outside the pool area next to the walking path/water taxi is a nice volleyball area. The truly nice feature was being able to check out at 11:00am but continue to hold onto the hotel key which serves as your express pass for the rides. We were able to play until 4:00pm and come back and use the pool until our ride arrived. The staff did everything they could to keep us comfortable. For us, with limited time and wanting nothing to do with renting a car, this was prime choice and look forward to our return.
