  We stayed for 2 nights at the Loews Royal Pacific July 18-20, 2012, mainly for the Express Pass and the early admission to Harry Potter. The nice surprise here was that the service was amazing, from the valet parking to the clean rooms to the WONDERFUL pool ! The beds were comfy, and my 22 year old daughter wanted to take a pillow home~~she loved it that much! It was pricey, I'm not gonna deny that, but I will definitely come back. The ease of walking or taking the boat to the park, plus the overall experience was worth every penny. Everyone should stay here at least once in your lifetime, and oh, by the way, be sure to go to Harry Potter and get a butter beer! AMAZING!!!

  Resort was nice. Not the best I have ever encountered, but relatively clean and definitely convenient - within walking distance of City Walk, Universal, and Islands of Adventure. Hotel charges for everything a la cart (like most resort hotels); for example, in-room wi-fi and use of the fitness center are all extra charges. BTW, the "free" wi-fi advertised is only available in the lobby. Keurig coffee machines with k-cups in the rooms is a nice touch. Found it hilarious that the Disney channel is not available on the cable channels. Budget conscious need not eat at the hotel (i.e. $20+/person for breakfast), but you can find other food options along City Walk. Nice pool - "lagoon style" just means odd shaped and only ~4 ft deep. Poolside kid-oriented games and contests throughout the day. Cabanas are overpriced at $200/day with no option for half days. Overall a great experience, especially with the onsite perks to the parks: within walking distance, free water taxi, early admission, unlimited Express passes.

  This was actually my second time staying there since we enjoyed it so much last year. the property is beautiful, the staff is great. i would totally recommend to anyone.

  Although a nice hotel, there were a few problems with our stay. One, the shower wasn't draining well and we constantly had to shut it off mid shower so it would drain. Also, at times we had to hold the shower knob up for the shower to stay on. Second, the toilet was leaking. Third, the free wireless access in the lobby wasn't working. As a result, I had to pay an internet access fee to use wireless from our room.
