Arrived at Bellagio late on Sunday night, was checked in without any problems, enjoyed our week-long stay. The hotel/casino became very busy over the week, which is a reflection on its popularity. I felt that the resort fee, which gave us wifi, pool and gym access was a waste on us since we only used the pool once for 20 minutes (it was not heated) and did not use the gym or internet. The room was very nice, very similar to the picture on the travelocity website. Much bigger than I expected and we had a great view out the front of the hotel to see the Paris eiffel tower. We were on the 5th floor, so it was difficult to see the fountains, but we did pay for the cheapest package. The only real negative was the bathroom - the toilet was soooo loud when it flushed it would lurch me out of bed if i was sleeping. Also, there was no fan or heater in the bathroom, so it was cold when getting out of the shower or bath. Other than that, there is no Starbucks in this hotel, had to walk over to Planet Hollywood to get my morning fix because the coffee in Bellagio just didn't *work* - sorry I am an addict and need at least 2 black vent dark roasts to get me through the day. Not even a coffee maker in the room. Okay, final negative was that the fridge was full of bottles that if you moved them they were automagically charged to your room bill, as were many boxes of crackers and bottles of water that were astronomically priced (we were warned at check-in and did not get charged) - but it would have been nice to have access to a refrigerator in the room. Overall it was a great room with a great view and no noise was heard from other rooms (just sometimes people out in the hall). The long trek through the casino to get to the elevators was a bit of a pain but i suppose that is par for the course in Vegas. The casino was very clean and well staffed to both bring drinks and take your money. Very classy casino relative to some of the others we walked through.

03/22/2013I totally enjoyed my stay at the bellagio. the hotel is beautiful and the entire staff was wonderful!! i will be back next year.

Our one negative experience happened upon check in, where we were checked into an unprepared room. Upon calling the front desk we were offered to stay there and wait for housekeeping to show up, or to go to another room. We chose the second option and went to the other room where we were told our keys would work. They didn't, but it took at least 45 minutes to get the situation resolved, during which time we were asked to wait there, which meant standing in the hall with luggage for 45 minutes. The head housekeeper for that floor was probably the most courteous and concerned person to make sure we were being taken care of. Security was rude and the front desk when we went down later to get our room keys adjusted was completely indifferent. not what i would expect at a property of this caliber.
