If you are looking for a glamoruous weekend on the Vegas Strip, look no further than the Bellagio. My wife and I went for a romantic weekend and our expectations were fully exceeded. We had the best martinis ever at the Caramel Bar & Lounge, excellent dim sum in the Noodles restaurant, and enjoyed the wonder of Picasso in the restaurant named after the master. We upgraded to a room overlooking the famed Bellagio fountains and ran to the window to watch each time the fountain started a new show. A designated channel on the TV plays the music choreographed to the show. The fountain experience from the room paled only in comparison to the experience from the street level outside. The room itself was well appointed with a very comfy bed, marble bathroom, and velvety plush carpeting. The botanical gardens were simply magical. Service was excellent. I called the Bellagio concierge to assist with reservations at the Effiel Tower restaurant across the street, and when we got to the restaurant, we were seated at the best table in the entire restaurant. I've been to Vegas several times, and by far the Bellagio experience was the best. I highly recommend a stay there.

The Bellagio was an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel was exactly as pictured in many movies (think Ocean's 11) and more. From the moment you walk in the door, you feel as if you've entered a palace of sorts. We found ourselves distracted by the colorful ceiling (I believe they're glass flowers). The desk attendant told us that everyone who happens to look up gets lost for a couple of seconds. We opted to upgrade to a Lake View room and it was well worth it.The view of the water show is amazing (and I've got the pictures to prove it). Of course, the room is spectacular at night with the show accompanied by the flashing lights of the surrounding hotels. We attended the dinner buffet the first night we arrived-- it was not as good as we expected but it was good nonetheless. There are dozens of stations so you're sure to find a cuisine to your liking. Olives restaurant was GREAT (I suggest making reservations). Last but definitely not least, the hotel casino was massive. Once we returned from a Cirque de Soleil show, we hit up the casino from around midnight until 2am (and it was a lot less congested than the 8/9p hours). Bellagio- truly worth AAA's 5 stars/diamonds!
