Not what we expected

We paid for an upgraded room and when we went to check in it was ready but the room for the couple we were travelling with wasn't. We let them put their luggage in our room while we went to eat. When we returned their room still wasn't ready so they put them in a much nicer room than ours on the fountain side of the hotel even though they had paid for a standard room. Upon closer inspection of our room we found food scraps on the counter tops as well as the floor. Who ever was there before us had left their fingernail file on the desk and what looked like toenail clippings on the floor. The hot water faucet in the bathroom leaked onto the couter top whenever you used either the hot or cold water. We had to keep a washcloth wrapped around it to keep things dry. We told the front desk about these problems and they asked us when we would like it taken care of. Since we were leaving to go gambling and sight seeing for the day we said they could take care of it anytime. We were assured that the problems would be resolved immediately. Our room was never cleaned or swept nor was the leak fixed the entire 3 days we were there. On top of it all no one even bothered to check back to see if any of the items were taken care of.
