I traveled to Las Vegas with my boyfriend to celebrate his birthday. The Bellagio was a great choice and we had an amazing time. One of the highlights was the Cirque du Soleil show O at the hotel. It was much better then any other show we saw and was definitely worth the money. The Bellagio is also in a perfect location and it is convenient to get to nearby hotels. The decor is beautiful and all of the food that we ate the food that we ate was delicious. The food and drinks were pretty pricey but comparable to other high end hotels.

Stayed for New Year's Weekend and we had a mediocre experience. For the money we paid and the 5 star rating, you expect a lot more. No one it there to help you with your bags, a standard room is very ordinary and outdated, we had the view of the back of the hotel. When you get there you are greeted as if you are at a DPS. The customer service is lacking. I would not recommend staying at this hotel, it is not worth the money you pay. When going around Caesar's Place, New York New York seemed like better hotels that we may try in the future. An big incident that happened was on New Year's Eve the electricity and hot water were out all day. No one called to tell us what was going on, I had to call and only after I pointed out that I would need to take a shower, blow dry my hair was I told I could have access to their spa. That was a nightmare. There was a line to take a shower, I accidentally walked in on someone taking a shower since there is no locks or way of knowing if people were in the shower. An employee walked in one me. I had to wait for a socket to open up to plug in my blow dryer. They would not let us put our purses in the lockers because we were not paying for spa services. Then when I called for a compensation, the operator said the front desk was too busy to deal with this and to talk about it when I checked out. The compensation I was offered was to refund the $20 resort fees.

The Bellagio was wonderful. The bed was amazing. It was the cleanest room I've ever stayed in - EVER. The staff was super friendly and always helped when my huband and I had questions. It's a perfect location to walk up or down the strip. The only problem we had with the whole hotel was the price of food - there isn't a food court at the Bellagio so you have to walk to a different hotel - if you're concerned about that. They have plenty of places to eat - high end places - The Cafe Bellagio was a good price and had excellent food. On the other hand we had a wonderful view of the fountains and enjoyed it very much. Overall I couldn't have had a better time or service from the Bellagio. Well done!
