This hotel is very convenient to the airport, you just walk across the street.

We enjoyed our time at the Glasgow Holiday Inn. We were very disappointed that the internet cost $40 US dollars a day, however. We ended up spending a lot of time across the street at the Starbucks inside the airport because they had free Wi-Fi. Also, the website for the hotel stated that there was a pool on site, but this is not the case. Breakfast was provided, but at a cost of $26 US dollars per person. So, even though the nightly rate was acceptable, the amount charged for services that are free in many other hotels will make me think twice about booking here again.

The amenities in the room were commenserate with the price I thought. The Airport being within walking distance, was a great advantage. Not being a seasoned traveler, I would have liked more information on "what's on" on TV and also that the hair dryer was to be found in a drawer. It is a great set up for business people who are used to hotel rooms. All in all, I found it perfectly satisfactory.

I was a bit confused with the room at first. They had me down for a smoking room. I did not see any link to request a non smoking room on their website when I booked online. Unfortunately the rooms were booked solid and I didn't have much choice to get a change. However the room was very comfortable with only a faint smell of stale smoke. My clothes however all had to be laundered when I got back to the States due to the lingering smell. Comfortable bed and nice refreshment tray for tea or coffee in the room. Easy access to the airport by walking out the bar door, short walk across the street and into the front door. I would not hesitate to stay again. I thought the cooked breakfast a bit expensive at 13 pounds plus.....next time I will opt for the free continental bar.

I had an early morning flight, so this was a perfect option. I was able to literally walk to the airport in the morning. Since the airport is a bit of a drive from the Glasgow train station, I highly recommend this as a convenient option. The staff were great. There was a restaurant in the main lobby and room service available. The bathroom was a bit cramped, but overall fantastic experience!
