My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is 1 block away from Gloucester Road underground station if you decide to move around London by underground. The reception staff is very friendly. When we arrived the room was not prepared yet and they invited us with a glass of wine. The lobby is amazing. Very big with conformable sofas, a restaurant and a tavern. We got a room on the 17th floor with a nice view of the city. The bed was very comfortable. The room provides tea and coffee bags with a coffee maker for free. Internet and breakfast is not included.

  • You'll feel welcome the moment you arrive!

The moment we arrived we felt so very welcomed. The concierge was so very very helpful. They explained to us how the underground worked and away we went. Brilliant! The rooms were small and a bit of a suitcase challenge, however we weren't hanging out in our room much. The view was great! The shower hot and the room service food tasty! Not to mention the hotels wine. Great! We had no trouble sleeping. Downside: the Hotel business office is closed on the weekends so we couldn't get our boarding passes done there. All in all! Quite lovely!

This hotel was exactly what I expected it to be. For anyone who has travelled in the UK before, you know that many hotels have "personality" at the expense of cleanliness/newness. This hotel was exactly what you would expect from a Holiday Inn and very clean. The downside was it was a little pricey and a couple of the front desk receptionists were slightly rude (but maybe they were having a bad day). The main positive, besides the cleanliness, was the location. Great restaurants and easy access to the circle line to get other places in London right next door!

  • Perfect
