07/18/2012Hotel union square's great location made it easily accessible to shopping, bart, and restaurants. staff was friendly, professional, and made sure our stay was memorable.

Nice staff, clean and inviting. The bed was not as a supportive mattress as I prefer, we were a little stiff upon waking each morning. View was a bit lacking, but very neat decor throughout, had lots of character:)

Cool Hotel, Very Noisy
06/25/2012This hotel has cool rooms, but the building is old and is very loud. could hear everything going on outside my window and everything in the hallway.

The location is awesome ( although can be noisy at night, especially with cable cars passing every few min). The rooms are clean and very small but it's enough although the price is steep for what they are. The staff was helpful and they offer wine sampler hour in lobby for free. Overall it's overpriced but you are paying for location and not room.ps don't drive , parking a nightmare in downtown SF.
