The hotel is very hard to find coming from the airport. I had read previous reviews so I took the shuttle since we came in at night. The hotel is in an industrial area. But you do not hear the trucks. The hotel has been decorated nicely. Plenty of pillows on the beds. You do have a refrigerator and microwave. The 24 hr snack is actually 2 vending machines, and the business center is 2 computers in the lobby. The pictures look different on the website. You do hear the trains because of being near the track, only when they blow the whistle. Overall the price was good, free breakfast, internet and shuttles was a good deal. Drawback it is far away from most shopping.

All of the staff were very friendly & helpfull. The all-day guided tour of NYC was only $* & included an hour cruise to the Statue of Liberty. Great way to see all of the high points of NYC in one day. Perfect for my 80 year old mother-in-law. Jersey girl guide was great. Included substantial breakfast with scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, bacon or sausage, yogurt. One negative, the coffee is made from concentrate, a little too wicked for me & I like strong coffee. I used the coffee maker in room. Restaurant food was good-$*-$* for burgers or Philly cheesesteak which included fries was big enough to split. Dining area had a rather 80s decor though. Didn't like the $*/day charge for safe in room. Two computers in lobby but there is a charge. Shuttles were very helpful, this is a hard motel to locate from the rental car locations, & there is nothing else around as far as eating places etc. I would stay here again, see more of NYC, maybe take Amtrak to Philly from airport for a few days. Also would be good pre or post cruise, they have free shuttle to port at Bayonne.
