- This property will be renovating the south wing of the hotel starting May 1, 2012. Remodeling is scheduled be completed by September 2012. This includes the following restaurants: Der Keller, Dhow and Anchor, and the Premium Leisure Club.

We upgraded to adjoining rooms with balconies. Worth the money. We also upgraded to the Premium Leisure Club which included breakfast, high tea, happy hour, and ground transportation to the airport. Very good value for the money as breakfast alone cost more than the upgrade. Free shuttle to emirates mall which we were not told about at check in but no big deal. Cabs are super cheap and always available. All the staff at this hotel were fantastic. Friendly, smiling, courteous, and acommodating. The beach is to die for. The view is unbelievable. I will probably not visit Dubai again but if I do, this is where I will stay.

The hotel is very nice. The beach and pools are equisite and the service is excellent. You don't have to leave the hotel. The room are luxurious with tons of space, and the dining is expansive with variety in price and type. Overall excellent. The price is just a tad high for what it is.
