The rooms are small but comfortable and clean, location is great. I recently stayed for 12 nights, in a single room. Quite reasonable, great location. I checked out a bike one day and rode it on Coronado via the ferry. I arrived/departed the hotel via public bus from airport for $2.25 each way since I just had carry on bags. Bus stop is directly across the street from the hotel.

Good hotel. the only negative was that it has the greyhound bus stop underneath. this made it so there where a lot of shady characters always hanging out outside.

Cozy with a great price :) My stay was Tuesday to Thursday and I was there on business so it was short and sweet. The room was modern, clean, comfortable and the staff was nice (I didn't have too much contact). I preferred the room on the inside of the building (the one offered to us originally was at the backside towards the Greyhound bus area), I wanted to follow a reviewer's warning that it might be a loud night (the staff accomodated to our request no problem). The restaurant downstairs was very convenient, romantic, nice and has great food as well. The three things I didn't like much (which won't necessarily stop me from going there again). 1. There are a lot of random people walking near and around there due to the Greyhound buses (right next door) picking up and dropping off people there. 2. It's a little bit of a pain to get the car in and out of the parking garage ($30 per day). It's not necessarily the valet (they were great, quick and efficient) it's more the freedom of not being able to get in and out of your when you want to and the valet area is in a heavy traffic area and right at the curb before a main street. 3. They allow dogs to stay there, I personally have never encountered that but luckily I didn't hear any barking. All of this is based on personal preference of course but all in all not bad for the price considering it's downtown.

We stayed in this hotel for three nights and walked to the Gaslamp Quarters every night. Service was very nice, but the only downfall was parking. We tried to avoid the $30 parking and it was not possible. A little advice, the $30 is worth it, and don't forget to tip the valet guys.
