The hotel was very accommodating when I had made an error in the reservation. The staff were extremely helpful. The rooms were clean and aesthetically pleasing. Only difficulty arose with the small size of the bathroom (toilet and shower) and having the sink and mirror outside of the bathroom in the entryway. Otherwise, everything was great.

My sister and I stayed here for a night. Very close to downtown bars and felt very safe. Pillows a little uncomfortable (very big) but the room was gorgeous. Also another problem was finding parking. There was some street parking but not something you want to deal with if staying multiple nights. Valet was approx. 30/night I believe.

Every time I visit San Diego I stay at this hotel. The last time I was there was over a year ago, but I was instantly reminded of what a pleasant hotel it is and the great location it is at in the downtown area. It's just 3 blocks away from the bars and great restaurants of the Gaslamp District and yet its far away enough from the noise. Perfect place if you're visiting for business or pleasure. The hotel rooms are small though. They are nice and clean with a contemporary style. Good for the single traveler or couples.

The rooms are cozy and well appointed for a single or double occupancy. The Staff was very friendly, gave great restaurant advice, and was always looking for another way to help you. Never heard a sound coming from outside the room during the stay, day or night. The flatscreen is at a perfect position for lying in bed and watching, but don't let it tempt you! With little Italy and the gaslamp district meeting on the Sofia's doorstep you could stay here for several nights and still have dozens of secret and fun spots to find! Try Sadaf for business casual kabob (delicious), or the Lincoln Room for a more casual American dinner (Burgers Deluxe). Enjoy! p.s. if you're worried, the complimentary mouthwash is quite mild.
