I like the location because well it seem near everything, I did morning runs while I stayed in S.F. any direction I went was awesome. I went by the Warf, all over downtown, really my only complaint was that I rented a car and the price to park out there is an injustice. Comfortable stay for the price I would do it again!

02/03/2011My favorite item in the kabuki is the soaking tub. perfect after a long day of sight seeing. the staff in the bar/ restaurant are very helpful and friendly.

Peeling wallpaper and broken toilet

Stayed one night on 4MAR10. Hotel lobby was nice as was the general Japantown area. However, the room was not so nice. Wall paper all over the room was peeling off. Not just one strip or one area, but all over the room. Additionally, the toilet did not flush properly - it appeared to be some sort of low flow system. However, the bathroom was quite nice. I'm not sure why this hotel is generally rated highly, but i would not recommend it.
