I was most dissapointed in the pool hours. We never even got to get in it. They shut the pool down extremely early. Getting in the pool after a long hot day sounds pretty reasonable to me...guess the Monte Carlo disagrees. Other than that, it was your average hotel.

The hotel was clean and well located. the restaurants were an excellent value and the food was good. the only less than pleasant thing we found was the smoking in the casinao, but honestly, we found that everywhere on the strip! We took in the Frank Caliendo show while there and it was really excellent.

Our reservation was completly screwed up and I was lied to on several occasions by the staff. My issue was never resolved, but Monte Carlo upgraded me for my next stay. Casino was awesome including the Poker Room. The room was an excellent value for the money. The pool was nice although it was over-shadowed by the Aria World City Resort. Overall our stay got better, but my first impresion of it was bad.

Monte Carlos has become my favorite place to stay in LV. We went there originally prior to our wedding so we could be alone, after our 2 night stay we just wante to stay and get married there. The room was beautiful and the people were especially nice. I have gone back exactly a year after our marriage, and we have every intention in continuing to return to Monte Carlos.
