I absolutely loved the pool area! The lazy river was fun for me and my child! Bring your own innertube. They don't rent them anymore but you can buy them there. They even had a sand volleyball courtso bring your beachvolleyball too. The outside pool area was the perfect relaxing counterpart to the exciting Vegas nightlife!

We stayed here for our 15 year Anniversary trip in July 2011. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice our room was and the overall cleanliness of the hotel. We seemed to arrive on an off week, or at least that is how we felt. The pool closed at 7pm!! Many of the restaurants closed early, and there was no entertainment available. Compared to other hotels/casinos we visited during our stay, ours seemed the most calm and uneventful. We had to go to neighboring hotels for eating and entertainment. Very quiet hotel. Definitely, not where the action is. Staff was very nice. They upgraded our room to a better view without us asking.

Good value for the money however, this hotel seemed to be geared towards families instead of couples. There were children EVERYWHERE and when I say children I mean kids in strollers, and ages 3 - 16 running all over the hotel, crowding the pool, & cramping the elevators. My wife and I didn't even attempt to go to the pool because of all the children splashing and yelling, and the lazy river isn't all its cracked up to be. Needless to say my wife and I spent the majority of our time at other hotels, instead of enjoying our own. Other than that, the happy hour at The Pub was good, the tram between the Monte Carlo & the Bellagio was a plus, the rooms were clean and the price was cheap. But my advice is if you are planning just a couples get away, DO NOT stay here. Spend the extra money and book at the Venetian or the Paris.
