I went to Vegas in May and I loved staying at the Monte Carlo. I think the other bigger hotels can be overwhelming and I found the MC to be a perfect size. The pool was gret and so was the DJ at the pool. Its in a good location on the strip and the room was clean and comfortable. I would defintely stay again

The Monte Carlo is situated close to New York New York and opposite MGM Grand on the Strip. Although it has a "theme" (Monte Carlo), this theme translates to not much beyond elegant decor and professional staff. If you're as tired of themes taken overboard, this is a refreshing change. Other resorts that are simply elegant are MUCH more expensive (looking at you Bellagio). For the combination of good location, simple elegance and reasonable cost, the Monte Carlo can't be beat.
