Some of the rooms are much nicer than others. My room had a flat panel television but my co-workers still had the old tube style. The exterior is in need of repair. Second floor entrance was not very nice. Stairs of parking garage out of service and looked like they were about to collapse. Staff was great, helpful and friendly. Room could have been cleaned a little better. Overall not to bad.

I'm not particularly picky, but I do require a clean feeling place to sleep. This place fell short of that, as it is a little seedy. A lot of things are dilapidated and inconvenient at this place: - railing in hallways is coming off - decor is sadly out-of-date - parts of door handles are falling off - the back door to the parking lot (the one that prevents people not staying in the hotel from getting in) didn't shut properly so was never locked - bathroom decor consists of painted-over wallpaper - shower head pointed way too high and was not adjustable - every wall outlet is behind a piece of furniture - old fridge squealed all night - the hallways were stained and filthy - the whole place just felt dirty - the entire first floor was freezing cold (it was 20 outside) Also, per our firsthand experience and word of mouth, this hotel is apparently known for being a place where people rent rooms for parties. Awesome. Luckily, we were there for New Years so we were faded for much of the time we spent there, thus making it bearable to sleep while a group of people yelled and partied in the hall directly outside our door. Oh and please note that the photo certainly does not represent the actual room you'll be staying in - it will be worse. On the other hand, the service was great, particularly from the bartender. He made the whole experience fun. Also any time we requested any items from the front desk they were there in minutes.

This hotel has great amenities! The free breakfast includes 1 of 2 options. Option one is scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, and a biscuit with a choice of juice, milk, coffee, or hot chocolate. Option two is to choose two items off a list including several fruits, oatmeal, cereal, muffins, toast, or biscuits. The airport shuttle is quick, easy, and convenient. The location is great. It is two blocks from temple square and is in the free bus zone. The beds are comfortable and clean. The staff is WONDERFUL! There is an office where you can print your boarding passes. My only complaints would be that our room was very warm, the elevators are slow, and the pool/hot tub are dated and slightly dirty looking. Great hotel over all especially if you can get a good discount!
