This hotel was located in the heart of downtown which is just a short walk to the Pike Market and just over 0.5 mile walk to the piers. You can easily access the bus, monorail (to town square/space needle), or light rail (to the airport) a couple blocks from the hotel.

Definitely a modern boutique-type hotel. The location is great - walking distance to the Space Needle and Pikes Place Market. Also a very short walk from the light rail station if you want to save money traveling from the airport to the hotel. Although the rooms are very small with tiny bathrooms - the prices are far better than most hotels in downtown Seattle. The beds are a little too soft for my liking but the rooms (and the hotel overall) are very clean. Also, being in downtown, noise may be a problem for some.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Max. The bed was super comfortable and the staff very friendly and professional. The 2 cons were the water pressure and the elevator size, but honestly, these were hardly noticeable to me. I really couldn't care less about such minor problems. The location was super convenient for downtown or east Pike nightlife. I can't wait to visit Seattle again and stay at this hotel.

The room was very small. I felt like I was on a cruise ship. The resturant at the hotel was great. The staff was great. The only complaint I have is the size of the room. Didn't even have enough room for our lugage. We were in a king size bed room. The rooms with 2 beds may have been bigger. The location was a good central location and easy to find.
