Very good location, I was there for PAX 2010 and it was a easy walk to all events. Only a 10min walk to the convention center. Red Fin Sushi Restaurant next to hotel was good. Rooms are small but I got it for the location/price.

I did the research online and was wary that the accommodations might be a bit smaller than most like the tiny bathrooms and such. Being a small person, this did not affect me much. In fact I thought it was quite cute and cozy. Hotel Max made up for it with the cool artwork, Aveda products and there were nice bathrobes available. Also there was a fridge & coffee pot & a sushi bar next door. Was withing walking distance to conference and sites of interest and public transport. We were set and enjoyed our stay in Seattle. We would definitely stay here again.

Just stayed one night there for the cool atmosphere. Ended up having paper thin walls and hearing neighbors laughing (of all things that should be happening in a room) until 4am. Phones in the room were very confusing to use to notify staff of disturbance. On top of that our bed was very middle pounded and totally needed to be flipped. Rooms are very small and especially the bathroom. Once morning came and time to check out the staff didn't even ask me how my stay was. I had to tell them how bad it was. They comped our over night parking fee but that was 50% off from the Travel Website deal anyway. LAME.

The location is great, an easy walk to transit and many of the local spots. The rooms and bathrooms were a bit small, but packed with all you need. A great mattress and pillows, fun art pieces and a super staff all willing to help you with whatever you need. I would definetly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to sleep for a fair price. If you spend a lot of time in your room, or need to work or have guest there it probably isn't the place for you, but otherwise a big thumbs up.
