The staff and location of the hotel were great! We were able to walk anywhere we wanted - pike place, downtown shopping, space needle ( a bit longer). The staff were super helpful in finding local, cool places to visit. As for the hotel itself, it was clean with a modern/ contemporary decor. Perfect for a younger crowd. However, the room was small and the amenities could use some updating. It wasn't quite what we expected or wanted, but the location and staff made up for it.

My wife and I recently visited Seattle for the first time. Hotel Max was one of the many hotel options with the travel package. This hotel seemed a bit quirky compared to other hotels in the area. I liked that it looked different. Plus, the location of the hotel in downtown Seattle was excellent. We walked everywhere from the hotel - Pikes Place Market, CenturyLink Field, Space Needle, and the great bars in the area. When we checked into the hotel, I believe Travis assisted us. He was extremely helpful. We asked for suggestions for meals, Happy Hours, etc. He took the time to show us different restaurants on a map and his personal favorites. Throughout our stay, the folks at the Front Desk were very kind. The doormen were always going out of their way to help us and answer any questions we had. Based on others' reviews, we knew that the room would be small. It did not disappoint! However, we were only in the room to sleep at night or take naps in the afternoon. I actually liked how quaint the room was. The bathroom was small, too; however, I did not feel trapped in it. The elevators were surprising small as well. The size of these areas did not bother us. I thought it was part of the character of the hotel as was the artwork throughout the hotel. Inside the room, a pillow menu was offered, which we did not take advantage. However, I liked how different pillow textures were offered, based on one's sleeping style. My wife and I took advantage of the option not to have our room cleaned every day. We were barely in the room so we did not feel the need to have it cleaned all of the time. Also, we visited the Red Fin Sushi Restaurant, which is connected to the hotel. Service was excellent, and the food was phenomenal. The Toro sushi was unreal! Overall, I would definitely suggest Hotel Max. If you are looking for a hotel to hang out, this is not the place for you. However, if you want a hotel with great service in a great downtown location, Hotel Max is for you.

its within walking distance to a lot of the shops and restaurants in the city! the room was very modern and had all the necessary amenities, including a refrigerator! it was the perfect size for a single traveler or a couple. Red Fin sushi, which is the restaurant in the hotel, has tasty food and a great happy hour menu! the only problem i had was upon the check in process. i assume it was a new agent i was dealing with because they were very uninformative and a little rude. but luckily, one of the other agents stepped in and handle it from there. its a little noisy also with it being on a busy street and all, but once i closed the drapes it was much better. im assuming if you chose a room on the back side it would have less street noise. other than those little hiccup, everything was awesome!! i would definitely stay at this hotel again!
