The hotel is great with the lobby open and beautiful. We have stayed here before and we were able to check in early. Our room overlooked the strip and we had a great view. We love that the pool opens at 8 a.m. The drinks and food at the pool are expensive and we were not allowed to bring our McDonald's coffee into the pool area with us in the morning, which seemed to be a little petty as we spent plenty of money buying their food. They need more shaded areas around the pool and not the $150 they charge for 2 lounges and an umbrella. The hotel and grounds are always clean and you feel you are someplace special. It's at the end of the Strip so it's not as noisy or crowded feeling. It's a great hotel.

07/09/2012I would never stay at the mandalay bay again. there were more families there in that resort than i would have liked it to be. the pools were super crowded ...
I would never stay at the Mandalay Bay again. There were more families there in that resort than I would have liked it to be. The pools were super crowded and I felt as though I was at an water park instead of a pool relaxing. Also the staff did not clean the room very well prior to our stay. We found 3 kids toys on the floor under the sofa and ottoman as well as a pair of kids flip flops under the bed. It was not a place I would recommend unless I guess you are taking your family to Vegas or as most call it Sin City.
