My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. It was a very good experience. I was hesitant of staying here because of some bad reviews, but I am glad I did. The hotel is beautiful and the room was spacious. The bed was so comfortable. I never wanted to get out. The bathroom was great too. I loved the tub. My husband is tall so he usually has problems with the shower hitting at chest level. He was so happy that the water actually hit his head without having to bend. People were mentioning the cleaning service coming in at bad times or coming in when the sign was out... but this didn't happen to us at all. The wifi was a bit slow but I was able to use it to do work. Also the ethernet cord worked pretty good. One drawback was there was no refrigerator. Well the lady at the front desk said there would be a charge if we used the minibar as a refrigerator. The minibar is weighted so I didn't even open it. The tv was nice but there were not a lot of channels. But who goes to Vegas to watch tv anyway? I really like how this hotel was connected to others through walkways. It is at the far end of the strip so you can put in a lot of foot miles walking to places. I didn't mind the location, but for some it could be an issue. Overall, I would stay here again.

I liked it. The staff was great. Lots of things to see that I didn't get around to. I found a great bar to sit at and people watch. Entertainment was cool. Hallway on the 13 Floor looked too much from the Shining movie. That's it. Go there.

Walking around in Vegas through each and every casino this hotel was big and quiet compare to others. It's was peaceful at night and wasn't as crowded with people. Food was great and the shark exhibition was very exciting. Great hotel and casino.

We did not know what to expect, as neither of us had been before. The Mandalay Bay was an awesome place to stay. It smells good (despite smoking in the casino), and is very clean. The staff were very friendly with us, and housekeeping was easily accessible during the day. The pool was great too, as we spent time on all 5 days by the pool. The buffet is affordable, and the quality of food is suprisingly good. Overall it was an incredible spot to spend our honeymoon, and we are already planning a trip back. The only downfall is that it is the southern most hotel on the strip, so we had to walk far, bus, or cab it everywhere. But really there is no reason to even leave the hotel.
