Overall, the room was very nice. It was a large, clean room with a very comfortable bed and a nice view (in our case). The pools and beach are awesome. The main disadvantage we found, was the distance from other hotels/attractions from the strip. There is a free shuttle to take you as far as excalibur, but it's cab, bus or hoofing it from there. The aquarium was an added bonus. The restaurants, though also pricey, are also fantastic. We tried Aureole, burger bar, and strip steak. I would recommend Aureole for fine dining and burger bar for a lunch or something, but strip steak was just too expensive for what we received, in our opinion. Overall, though we were very happy with our stay. Budget conscious shoppers may want to avoid this place though. We kinda splurged and had a blast.

  • We enjoyed the beach/resort very much.

I stayed in the cheapest room available and still felt like I was living in luxury. The beds were bigger than any hotel I've ever been to before and the room was very clean with a charming ambiance. The bathroom had a TV with a very nice glass encased shower and marble wall. The lobby is VERY impressive; it sparkles with grandiosity. Mandalay Bay is highly recommended. The only drawback is that is at the end of the Strip and only within walkin distance to a few attractions.

  • This hotel was beautiful!

We thought Mandalay Bay would cost more than we wanted to pay for 2 nights in Las Vegas; but we took advantage of a special they were running and found it to be a great value! The floor to ceiling windows afforded a great view. The bedroom and bathroom were both large and comfortable. We like the south end of the strip, so were close to things we wanted to do. Sometimes we walked, and sometimes took the rail. We had a great time!
