Spent 45 min waiting to check-in, with 2 people working and 25 people in-line (same as 2 weeks ago when I was there also). Took 25 min to checkout (even though I was in the preffered line). There are no bellman on call at the reception (takes 20 min to get anyone to store your luggage), and it tokk 25 min to even get your luggage back, while the airport car is waiting and driver was getting angry at me (?!). HORRIBLE service experience - Bellagio, Venetian and MonteCarlo are a much better bet if you are looking for any interaction with hotel staff (almost zero wait everywhere).

Mandalay Bay is a nice hotel and I would stay there again.

We upgraded to a strip view room upon check-in. Well worth the extra $20 a day. We ended up on the 34th floor with one of the best views imaginable. Check-in was quick and easy. The room was nice. Not as nice as some of the places we've stayed at in Vegas but the furnishings were modern, trendy, and comfortable. The bathroom was well laid out and allowed two people to get ready at the same time. The selling point for Mandalay Bay is definitely the beach/pool area. The wave pool was super fun - made me feel like a kid again. The lazy river was nice but would best be enjoyed with a tube which was not worth the price to buy there. If we go again I'd bring one from home. The hot tubs were a bit small but oddly accommodated everyone wanting to use them. This place definitely does not lack pools or beach chairs. It’s designed to feel like a true beach experience – relaxing and realistic. The resort offers an array of dining option from burgers to Beluga caviar. The staff was courteous and attentive. Staying at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino was an excellent experience. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to our next stay there.

Way, way too expensive; more so the shops and food than the hotel. No coffee makers in the room, no fridge, no microwave. No snack vending machines on the floorsNothing is free at this hotel, unless you gamble . Had to walk forever for a cup of $4 coffee; paid $8 for a box of Wheat Thins. My party included an 80 yr old and a man with severe rheumatoid arthritis. Each meal was a major journey for us.

We stayed at a suite in THE Hotel at Mandalay. The hotel was excellent. Great location and accomodations. The only thing that I would have liked to have was access to food late at night (actually early am) We arrived late and did not eat, by the time we thought about it, we had to go down several hotels to get to an all night restaurant. It was a great stay! We will stay there again!
