This was the worst hotel that I have stayed at in Vegas and I've stayed at most of them. Customer service was extremely poor especially for checking in. We almost missed dinner and show reservations because the hotel was short staffed and unable to get rooms cleaned for the next group of arriving guests. We waited almost two hours to get our room. The cleanliness of hallways was less than desirable and the room itself was not all that nice. You go on vacation to stay places that are nicer than home, this wasn't the case at this hotel. Other issues included an unwillingness to provide customer satisfaction, elevators that didn't opperate frequently enough to allow for the volume of people using them, and not enough staff to conduct business as it should be conducted. My husband I were extremely disappointed as were other guests we talked to throughout our stay. We will NEVER set foot in this hotel again.

Most people I believe go to Vegas to escape the banality of ones own life and not be reminded of the one they have at home i.e. screaming children!!! Mandalay bay should advertise that they cater to families with small children. My room was like staying in grand central station. I could hear people talking in the halls, children running up and down, and worst of all when my neighbors slammed their doors it was heard and felt through the walls. The elevators were extremely slow and over crowded. They did not have anyone checking room keys going on to the elevators. Therefore anyone off the streets can randomly wonder your hallways!! Unsafe for those who have cash and chips on them.

07/21/2011Great hotel for the younger traveler. great pool, and younger vibe than other hotels on the strip. check out the pool bar $50 entry is steep but great fun!

First off so you know about our trip it was 4 guys ranging from 21-23 we stayed here July 7-10, the main reason we picked this resort is the outdoor pools and beach. We wanted to make sure we could be cool during the day in the Vegas heat, and wanted to have options and be able to pool hop. We were very happy with the cleanliness and pool scene. Evreything else was great also all in all I loved staying at Mandalay Bay.
