The Mandalay Bay complex is a labyrinth and though I appreciated the free parking, the confusing directions from the staff made our long trek through the maze of casino/convention center an unpleasant start to our stay. On the other hand, the built-in water park was a great way to unwind after our visit to the Grand Canyon, even if its hours of operation were very limited.

Could not get the king non smoking room that I reserved. Room was only average and not very clean. Hotel is across Las Vegas Blvd. from the airport, could hear the planes taking off. The tram was not always working during scheduled hours. Not what I expected after reading the reviews. The hotel does have a great pool area.
