I felt Mandalay Bay was a great value for the money. The only downside is it is at the far end of the strip, but we took the buses or taxi's where we wanted to go. FYI; taxi's are not cheap in Vegas!

When upon entering the hotel I found the decor to be the norm of higher end hotels. The staff was very friendly and polite. The room was clean, and everything was in the appropriate area. Being on the upper floor made me feel nice as I could see all the way tot he mountains, strip also the pool area. The bed and pillows was very soft, a little too soft for my liking but beds and pillows those are things which are personal preference. Although you get to watch TV on a 42" LCD the TV stations which came in were not in HD so this was definitely a downer. Plus, I did not like is sun would come under the drapes and light up the room, but over all I would definitively stay there again.

Going to Vegas with kids isn't always the best way to go but staying at The Mandalay can make Vegas feel like Disneyland for kids. The Reef Aquarium, the wonderful pool, the kid friendly restaurants, riding the monorail at night. It was fantastic experience for all of us. I can't wait for our next stay here.
