Great location
02/18/2011I enjoyed my stay at club quarters. the hotel is very conveniently located in washington, and the room was comfortable. i definitely recommend the hotel.

Perfect location, right on top of one subway station, a block away from a second subway line. Two blocks from the White House. Nice restaurants close by. Small, but very well laid out rooms. Coffee, cookies, apples available all day in the second floor club room. Very nice, and very affordable!

I stayed at this hotel on a trip home and was shocked. The hotel looks so pretty on the outsiden and downstairs but the room & bathroom were incredibly small. It was a pretty room but just way too small to be comfortable. My boyfriend stayed there with me one of the days that I was there and it felt super small even with just the two of us. The staff was nice but gave the impression that they felt they were better than me/my family...which did not make me want to come back. The only good parts were that it was clean and the bed was very comfy...otherwise, this is a not a recommended place to stay. :-(

Stayed at CQ in Wash DC from Dec 26 to 31, 2010. Arrived at 10am and they very nicely let me check in early. Room was small, but perfect for one person. Free Wi-Fi very much appreciated. Free bottled water also! Free coffee and cookies and newspapers in the Club Room. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Perfect location, two blocks from White House. Right next door to one subway line, just a block away from another subway line. Made getting around incredibly easy.

My hotel experience was beyond excellent! The hotel has a fabulous location, few blocks from all major attractions and museums. Hotel and Rooms are very modern, extremely clean and hotel staff was very courteous. Easy check-in, via a computer, you don't even have to make a line to check in or out. The hotel has an excellent Media Room with computers and its very comfortable. It has a Metro Stop (Farragut-West) right in the corner, just 50 feet away) However, it's not open during the weekend or holidays, but there is another nearby Metro Stop just 2 blocks away (5 minute walk, very easy walk). HOWEVER, I was in Washington, D.C. since I got married on September 4th and we went to J & G Steakhouse on the evening of our wedding. It is located at 515 15th Street NW Washington D.C. 20004. It's at the bottom of the "W" Hotel. Needless to say this is not an Inexpensive restaurant; however, we went for a special dinner. Waited 10 minutes for utensils to spread the butter on the bread. They threw away the "cork" of the wine, which looses the aroma, another 5 minutes to get the ice bucket to put the wine in. Waiter running around, awful service. What a disaster. The bottle of wine is all we paid $* and we left the restaurant. Ruined our special evening. This restaurant should have at least 2 people helping the waiter for that price range. We were going to spend well over $*. Stay Away. We are use to going to "Top Notch" restaurants and the restaurant is suppose to be in the Top 100, definitely not in service, which is key to any top restaurant of that price range. Ended up ordering room service.
