A good choice in Montreal

If you're planning to walk around downtown, it's not in the best location. Having no wifi in the rooms is also inconvenient. The hotel's public spaces are a bit outdated. If you choose to stay there, pay a little extra for a Mode, renovated, room. I've spent time in both and the upgrade is well worth it.

Get the MODE room. For a couple bucks more per night it's worth the renovations. It's an uphill walk to St. Catherine, so bring comfortable shoes or take a cab. No internet in the room was a nuisance. The bar / restaurant is not a good value...

The location of the hotel is perfect. It's locatedd within walking distance of downtown and old Montreal. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a bit dated but clean. I would definitely stay again.
