Important Hotel Information
- We are excited to announce that Delta Montreal is on a 20 million dollar renovation project. The first phase is now completed with the renovations of our guestrooms. The second phase will start at the beginning of 2013 and will consist in redesigning our restaurant and bar as well as renovating our public space. We plan to complete this exciting project with minimal disturbance to our loyal guests. What a perfect way to celebrate Delta Montreal's 25th anniversary! The Delta Montreal is 100% non smoking.

The hotel, close to the Place des Arts, is very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable, with a down comforter as the main linen. Especially nice was the saltwater pool and the sauna in the hotel's health club. In my room, my only complaint was that in the restroom, the toilet did not have a light (it was in a separate "room" off the room with the bathtub and sink), but that was not all that bad. The maid very nicely laid out my toiletries after cleaning. The bar/restaurant was also pleasant and friendly. The staff was very helpful and all and all a quite good experience.

This hotel is conveniently located close to ebverything in the downtown area, restaurants to pharmcies. It is very roomy and good for its purpose. The only drawback is that it does not have continental breakfast like other places.

Internet was down and did not get fixed until my last day there. But, the tech support was awesome and they guy who came to fix it was very friendly. The toilet leaked the entire time. I had to use the trash can to collect the water and empty it everyday. Parking was a rip off! Super expensive. There was a group of kids staying there and they were loud and running up and down the halls all night. The pool was gross and needed repair. Don't stay here! You can get a much nicer room/hotel for the same amount of money! The people at the front desk were very friendly and helped us find some good restaurants, but the hotel overall was a toilet.

We just returned from this hotel after a two night stay and we are disaapointed. The hotel is OLD, and in serious need of an uplift. The pool was very dirty and the water seems like it has not been changed since the 80's, it was gross to say the least. The rooms are outdated, with a less than appealing washroom. The equivalent of a Super 8 motel. On a good note, the staff is friendly, the rooms are quiet you can't hear your neighbours, the linen on the bed is clean and comfortable and the breakfast is great. I found a dirty pair of socks by my bed the second night, and they weren't mine or my husband's. For non-Quebec resident's beware. There is a lot of crime in Montreal. We had our windows smashed and car emptied while taking a walk in old Montreal, after paying $* for parking. Police said it was common. Coincidence or not, we were the only non-Quebec plates in the lot.

I enjoyed my stay at Delta Montreal. My reservation was done the same day that I was leaving for Montreal, when I got there I got taken care of right away and my room was exquisite to say the least. The hotel was well situated and the staff was very helpful.
