Everything was overall great. The staff for room service was fantastic and so was house keeping. Having 3 pools on site made it more secluded. I just wasnt too fond of the mirrors in the room. Kinda creepy sleeping having mirrors face your bed. Me and my Fiancé had a wonderful getaway here. This hotel is great for couples and small families.

The room we had was nice. The grounds were superbly kept, very beautiful, pools were awesome. The restraunts on the grounds were a little overpriced for the quantity of food you receive. our room was right next to the soda machine & ice machine. my recommendation would be to make sure that you ask the front desk on check in to avoid this mistake. the parking fee was outrageous. travel distance and access to all the attractions was awesome. The Front Desk personal was really nice and helpful. Even though our trip and visit was a little rocky, I will stay at this hotel resort again. I would recommend this hotel resort to anybody, very nice and a good price.

I scanned hundreds of reviews before booking this hotel for our San Diego/Seaworld vacation. Even after booking, I was a little hesitant and considered cancelling several times. We are so glad we kept our reservation. I knew I had to write this review. Check In: Arrived at 1pm and did the pre-check in. Very nice guy offered us the little apartment looking room with garden patio or we could reserve a room now and come back at 3pm when it was clean in a remodeled Royal Tower room. We chose the latter. We came back around 4pm and got our room - #1127. It was around back (with plenty of up close parking). We were amazed at the great room we got. Two comfy queen beds (in the "royal blue" decor), a bathroom with sink inside, separate dressing area with mirrored closet and sink, tv amoire with flat screen tv, desk, and small dining table. The best part by far was our private patio with table and four chairs! We spent a lot of time out here. The overall room was clean and did not stink at all. The shower head had one of those adjustable nozzles (so relaxing). I even took a bath one night after a long day at SeaWorld. The tub is much deeper than mine at home. We stayed a total of two nights and three days. The first day we played in the warm pool. Man that pool was great. Our kids loved it. There were stacks and stacks of warm towels waiting when you got out of the pool. There was also a lot of tables and lounging chairs - we had no problem finding a spot though it was moderately crowded. The second day the room was perfectly freshened and restocked for our return. We dined at Charlies since the cafe was closed. I really hated how overpriced the food was. I really felt like I was being taken advantage of. That aside my salad was tasty and my husband's wrap was decent. What made it best was our sweet and attentive waitress from Poland Katherine. We loved her. She should seriously get a raise. Some of the other staff was goofing off, but she kept busy. The third morning we ordered room service and wow the food was really good. Kinda made the steep price worth it. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel. We added the SeaWold tickets (which are cheaper through them). Our stay was perfect, really. My husband and I kept saying how blessed we were to stay at such a great hotel.

This is one of the most miserable lodging experiences I have had in over thirty years. Room was tiny. Two suitcases did not fit anywhere. "Queen" beds barely fit with one so close to a/c unit that air flow was condensing on sheets. Person sleeping in this bed was either very hot because of blanket need or very cold because of ac blowing directly (less than eight inches) on their body. Room smelled of urine and very musty. Bathroom was okay although toilet bowl overfilled with water touching body parts. Extra fees include parking and fitness club. Spend that extra on a Marriott or chain rather than this hellhole.
