The room was clean, staff and service were slightly below average for the quality hotel I believed I was staying. Bed was too firm. Decorations were a little over the top for my taste. My room was at the end of the hall at the end of the row of rooms next to the parking lot. The walls were so thin, we could hear everyone talking coming and going all night. We could hear every car/motorcycle that passed by. It was impossible to find any quiet to sleep till way passed midnight. I guess it is common to do these days, but there was a $11.95 parking fee on top of the hotel room rate. There is inadequate parking near the rooms. I had to park two buildings over to find parking. This is not a place I will stay in again.

It was ok for the money we spent for the hotel. It was a family weekend get away to San Diego. The mall is right behind us, which is great if you have teenagers. The pool was right in front of our room so that was perfect. The Staff was accomodating especially when we found out we had to pay for parking for the entire stay. that was a upsetting because we had to pay at Sea World too but the front mgr. gave us breakfast vouchers for the inconvinience for one morning breakfast whick it equal out from all the parking payment. Overall it was great!!

Nice clean room for a great price. Stayed here for one night, ate at the "sports bar" Charley's, would not recommend it although it was convenient, the food was cold and sub par for the price. On our way out of the restaurant we saw a rat run across the side walk(yuck!). Other than that the hotel was nice, would stay again.

The Town and Country Resort was a good choice for the "secret hotel" price

This hotel probably would not be worth it for full price, unless you are looking for the resort experience (shopping, spa, golf, etc). The grounds were beautiful with a variety of roses and other plants. The whirlpool and pool (nearest our room) were spacious and not very crowded. The room was small (barely fitting the two queen beds), but clean. The bathroom was tiny, with some water pressure issues with the shower. Overall, it was a good overnight stay for us for heading off to Sea World the next morning.

This is a so called "secret hotel" deal for us -- room rate is about 40% lower than its market value. However, I still think I paid too much for it -- The wall & furnitures look too old. The widows are dirty. There are two restaurents inside this hotel but none of them was open since too few people lived in this hotel (we went there in May, 2010). The price is too high for this kind room. Not recommended at all!
