There was hot water only 1 of the 6 days I stayed in the hotel. I reported the problem to one of the desk personnel and she responded, "We were sold out last night and that sometimes happens." If I'd been told that a hot shower was unlikely if they were sold out, I would have never stayed there. I spoke to 8 other guests who were experiencing the same problem. No one at the desk took responsibility for the problem or explained further what the issue was. If at all possible, avoid this hotel. Go to many of the other downtown Chicago hotels. I know that I will.

It is a nice hotel and served it's purpose. The only mistake we made was the time we chose to stay there. The place was packed. Waiting in long lines for everything from breakfast to pool to waiting for elevator. We were hoping to have a quiet peaceful 4 day break from the everyday hustle and bustle. It was more work than pleasure. Besides that, the hotel can't be the blame for it. Good for them to be that busy.

Although the bathtub and sink in our room was a bit moldy, the room overall was nicely-sized and comfortable for four people. The complimentary breakfast was very nice, with a lot of choices, but with only one person cooking omelets to order (one order at a time), it took forever to get through the line. The overall value was good; we would stay there again if we could get the same deal.
