The lobby and room furniture was a little dated but this was a nice place to use as a base to visit Chicago. I wouldn't stay on business mainly because of the abundance of small children but the free breakfast made this ideal for our family

This hotel served as a great base from which to explore downtown Chicago. Within walking distance to Magnificent Mile, Millenium Park, Museum Plaza, lots of restaurants and bars, etc. Our room was off the atrium and clean and quiet. The fridge, extra sink, and separate living space was nice. The bedroom area was small, but it was just the two of us and plenty for us. Free, hot breakfast everyday was excellent - yes, there are lines but they move quickly (don't be worried from other reviews). Evening free happy hour with snacks was also great (snacks like hummus and chips or salsa and chips). Pool and hot tub looked nice but didn't use (hot tub was being worked on). Get a good deal, and you'll appreciate the location and value of this hotel!

Hotel staff was very helpful, helped us right away with directions and which bus to take. Love the suite type room, especially with our 3 kids. The manager reception and breakfast are a great bonus too!

Nice location, convenient to shopping, transportation. Nice room, when we booked we called Embassy Suites about a rollaway, were told it would be available, but when we arrived were told this hotel doesn't have rollaways. Agree with other reviewers about lines-breakfast lines consistently stretched all the way across the lobby, 50+ people. Lines were so long we never took advantage of the breakfast, so that wasn't a value for us.
