My sister and I attended our first Mardi Gras March 4-9, 2011...We walked and paraded until all hours in the qaurter, down bourbon and over to frenchmen street several times. Fun - friendly city. Staff very welcoming. Hotel staff checked wristbands to ensure only guests each night so we felt extremely safe. We had a fabulous time....I'll be back in July!

I had a wonderful experience at the Iberville Suites. I would absolutly stay there again! It was only two blocks from Bourbon Street but far enough away that you didnt hear all the hubub all night. When we first arrived the desk attendees were in a conversation and took a few minutes to acknowledge us, certainly didnt bother my husband and I since we were in a jet lagged daze anyways. Even though we said nothing about the wait the woman at the desk automatically upgraded us a to a beautiful room at no additional charge. Morning Breakfasts were great too, you can make waffles and there is a great selection of other continental items. I would go back in a heart beat!
This hotel was an awesome location, especially for the price. i would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to several friends who went tonew orleans!!

I just came back from NOLA 1 week ago today. I researched the French Quarter for weeks before finally choosing the Iberville Suites. I wanted to be within walking distance between Bourbon and Canal. That way if we wanted to experience the night life we did not have far to go and if we wanted shopping and gambling we could easily take the street car to Harrahs and the shops on the river. Iberville is 1 block off Canal and 1/2 block from Bourbon. It's all about LOCATION. This hotel certainly had that. Oh yes, we seemed to be right on the parade route more than a couple of times that weekend. The room service was right on. The room was very comfortable, as were the beds. The room was nice and clean and they provided us with plenty of towels. The staff was helpful and friendly and gave us great advice on restauants, night clubs and tours. I can't really think of any negatives about our hotel or our entire stay for that matter. I would not only stay there again but I have recommended Iberville to many people in the last week. Two words to discribe the hospitality, "Big Easy".
From check in to check out this hotel and staff is awesome.02/27/2011

I will go for another stay. This hotel and its staff is awesome. This is what New Orleans is all about. It is in walking distance Bourbon street and good restaurants. The breakfast is a feast. Well worth the money in these economical trying times.
