Hotel staff limited to hurricane weather. waited two days to check-in room. Given room that was not clean very dusty. hotel being remodel construction noise during the day. excessive paint ordor at night. room design is very modern and attractive. hopeflly better experience when construction completedl.

08/16/2012Was there over july 4, yes, they were renovating... but it was still quiet and clean. the hallways to the rooms were clean and nice, but needed a freshen up. ...
Was there over July 4, yes, they were renovating... but it was still quiet and clean. The hallways to the rooms were clean and nice, but needed a freshen up. The rooms were GREAT... and this says alot since I am VERY picky!! It was nice to have 4 areas to spread out (lving room, bar area, bathroom and bedroom) my husband and I felt like we were in a little apartment vs a hotel room... it was nice! The location was perfect!!! Steps to Bourbon St, but without the noise, and close to a yummy restauurant! I would totally stay there again.

WE really enjoyed this hotel. It's in the middle of the French Quarter, walking distance to anything. Clean, comfortable, friendly, helpful staff. Two minor negatives: no free internet, but was available in the adjoining Ritz lobby, and the breakfast is very sparse. But with all the restaurants in New Orleans, it wasn't a problem.

I will definitely stay here again. It was close to everything in the French Quarter . The room was big, and the separate area with the couch/TV was great.. felt like we had a whole extra room for lounging. We were in New Orleans for a wedding.. and are making plans to return for another weekend. will look forward to staying here again.

Iberville Suites was under renovation when we stayed in July. GREAT location right on the edge of the French Quarter so you can walk to everything! The amenities at The Ritz-Carlton were wonderful....great fitness facility. Our room was lovely, but not very sound proof. We heard people in the hall slamming doors all night long. It was a maze getting to our room on the 9th floor due to the construction, but we knew of that ahead of time. The new rooms are lovely and very comfortable. Although they look cool....the Interior industrial sliding "barn" doors on the bathroom and bedroom allow for NO privacy....and you can hear others sliding those doors at all hours - sounds like thunder. Besides that - the local was perfect and the price was right.
