The summary says it all. You are less than a block away from Canal St. and a block and half away from Bourbon St. This is my 4th trip to the Big Easy and I would return to the Iberville any time. The entrance is a bit hidden away at first glance because it is right next to the Ritz's entrance but make no mistake this place is no second rate Ritz. From the moment you walk off the elevator from the from entrance you know you are in for a good stay. The lobby is gorgeous and the staff is attentive and helpful. Our room was spotless and was large enough for two couples to stay (they are suites after all). Breakfast is your standard freebie. Cereal, bagels, toast, fruit, juice, and hot fresh waffles. The best part is that the lobby has a large seating area with a huge TV and a balcony with a view. Keep an eye out because you can get this place for very cheap and it is well, well worth the stay.

This hotel is in a great location. The rooms were very spacious, however, the televisions should be updated. The front desk staff could have been friendlier and more helpful, however, the valet attendants were very friendly and always courteous.

We knew little about the hotel, but took a gamble- it paid off. Rooms were spacious and nicely done. The location was close to things, but not noisy. We did have some small problems with the room at first, and some noisy neighbors, but when reported to hotel staff they were taken care of right away. The staff were all impressive, probably the best service we have had at a hotel in a long time. Was a little pricy, but you get what you pay for, and for New Orleans it was reasonable I suppose. Looking forward to staying there again in the future. Internet was a little pricy, but overall a great place to stay.

The Iberville is a comfortable hotel. I recommend it because of price. However it is unusual in that it only has a back door entrance. Coming and going requires two elevators, one to enter the lobby, a second one to reach the upper floors. The lobby and halls were modest but attractive. The rooms however need improvement. The bathroom floor was stained and looked dirty. The toilette paper hold was loose and the roll slipped off. The bedroom rug was soiled and a picture on the wall warped matting. The alarm clock had not been set and blinked 12:00 during my stay. Lastly, the bedsheet was torn on one edge. As if this weren't enough to cause discomfort the internet cost $12.75 per day! I will check out the competition on my next trip to New Orleans.
