Hotel was great and I would recommend to anyone. A few tiny negatives: breakfast was very sparse, but with all that great food in NO, it was enough to get started.....internet was not free but freely available in the Ritz reception area which is connected!

We read quite a few negative reviews, so we were very nervous about this hotel. However, we stayed on a recently renovated floor, and the room truly exceeded all of our expectations. There was some construction, but it really didn't bother us; it didn't start until around 9 or 10 a.m. The staff was overall very friendly, and the room was always clean. I hate that this place is turning into a Courtyard by Marriott; part of the charm is that it is named after one of the designers of the city. But great room nonetheless.

I am from new orleans and decided to visit my family. I've usually avoided the traffic and stress of the French Quarter, but this trip I decided to stay in the city. The location is perfect, one block off of Bourbon street and Canal street. The hotel was under some construction, but the rooms were large, updated, and comfortable. The staff was very accomodating. This hotel was also connected/affiliated with the Ritz.

Our room did not have a working lock. Staff came and worked on the lock but still did not fix it. Hotel is in the middle of renovating and one entrance is closed which makes entry a little difficult. Worse bed I ever had in a hotel. Mattress was very lumpy and way too soft for comfort. The hotel is ideally located in the French Quarter and the staff are friendly but I will not stay here again.

We stayed two nights at the Iberville Suites. The location can't be beat and the staff was very helpful and friendly. They are doing renovations but the noise level was not bad at all. Yes we had to take two elevators to get to our room but this was not that inconvenient as others have said. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to NOLA! Well worth the money.
