  The carpet was in desperate need of cleaning. I wore shoes the whole time, but for the price, it was OK. There was a good size frig in the room but the TV didn't get many cable channels. Not in an upscale area but room was quiet, bath and linens were clean, bed was comfortable and it was close to everything. Very easy access to Interstates 5 and 8. Would stay again because of the price.

  I booked a room with a king bed for a Thursday night, they gave me 2 queens. When I walked in I looked at the sheets first, for bed bugs. No bed bugs, but I found hair, like the maid was majorly shedding or just hadn't changed the sheets (I pick the latter). The carpet was very dirty, I didn't go barefoot at all. Though it was a no-smoking room, there was a cigarette in the holder for the brochures, a candy wrapper in the bathroom, the bathtub had not been cleaned, the remote control to the tv did not work. At midnight I had to call the front desk because the room next door was playing a shooting game on their tv too loud. The front desk called them, but that was it. The only good thing about the place was the coffee in the morning and they held my luggage for the day while I went out to the beach. Not a place to bring children (strip club right across the street). No free wifi, no continental breakfast.

  We booked three rooms. it made no difference that even when you specify a king size bed, you are given two full. one of the rooms had the linens soiled. ...

  We booked three rooms. It made no difference that even when you specify a king size bed, you are given two full. One of the rooms had the linens soiled. They corrected it. One of the mattress had springs poke out and scratched my young niece. The underground parking clearance is too low to accomodate a full size passenger van. The television stations are limited to 14 channels and the Televisions are not all sized the same. We had a small television in one of the rooms that was about 10 to 12 inches. Tolietries were not given other than a bar of soap. Otherwise it is not a bad place to stay. We had a family member graduating from the Marine's depo and the Inn's location was about 1mile to gate 5. With a little paint, replacement of worn furnishings and updating the television, and maybe adding continental breakfast or at least coffee and tea would have made it worth returning...Over all not bad for the money........

  I stayed here while on a 4 day conference in Nov 2009. The room was clean, it had everything I needed, the area is quiet and close to major Hwy for easy access to SanDiego City, beaches or the border. The price was at least a 3rd of what I would have paid for a hotel in the downtown district and it only takes about a 10 minute drive to be downtown. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.....great place for the price.
