I was looking for a decent nights sleep without spending a lot of $$. When we arrived we were told that due to not making enough profit they would only offer certain rooms. Had we not said no we would have ended up in a cement walled room with no windows facing an alley. A sympathetic desk clerk moved us and we got a view of the parking lot, two very well used beds, a dirty shower and dirty floor. In the morning upon check out we were questioned as to why and who had changed our rooms the night before.

This hotel had one of the best locations of any we stayed in on our trip to the Tetons, Yellowstone, and Glacier country. It was a one night stop over from Phillipsburg, MT to Glacier National Park. We arrrived late afternoon, but we had a chance to drive around the lake and see the small communities in the area. Even though our room was entered on the backside, it went all the width of the motel, so you could sit at the dining table and look out over the lake through the huge picture windows. It seemed to be a central location to see the sights around the lake. If we went to that area for an extended period of time, we would definitely stay there if there was a vacancy. Breakfast was good, also.

This hotel has a beautiful view of Flathead Lake. The room had a homelike feel to it and the people were friendly and helpful. The only downside was that you can hear the traffic on the highway. We had a great experience overall. Also, wireless internet is included.
