D D and S at the front desk were very friendly and helped me several times. The hotel at 6th and Speer/Broadway was about a mile from the 16th Street Mall area and it was a quick walk up Broadway to the free Mall Bus. The hotel was very quiet and the fresh baked cookies in the afternoon were a real treat. A continental breakfast was provided and added to the value of the stay. We did not have a rental car, but the walk to and from the 16th Street Mall helped offset the great restaurants. There were several good places to eat within a couple of blocks of the hotel as well. If you are motivated or thinking green, we discovered a bike rental shop at 9th and Broadway and there is a great bike trail that leads to downtown along a creek that parallels Speer Blvd. We just had a studio suite, but it contained a microwave, refrigerator, sink and small oven. Overall, the hotel was a great value and the staff was great.

I normally stay quite a bit more upscale, but this was in a better location for me this time. It was fantastic. Clean, great staff, free business center, good security at the doors, quiet yet central to many Denver locations. Free parking for the rental car, a little kitchen with all appliances, and a great little snack area in the main lobby. I would definitely stay again.

The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Great advice on local restaurants. Room was very clean. Excellent location if Downtown Denver is where you need to be. I don't usually gush over courteous staff or clean room....but this place seemed very well managed; the staff put forth the extra effort to be friendly. They seemed to enjoy being there. The room was very clean and decently appointed. The halls were decorated w/ interesting pictures of old-time Denver. Somebody cares about this hotel and it shows.

We love this place. Stayed there for 8 nights. It was one of the quietest places we?ve ever stayed in and the hotel staff is amazingly gracious, personal, and accommodating, a rare thing these days. There were fresh baked cookies in the lobby most nights and complementary breakfast items and newspapers in the morning. The one-bedroom unit was spacious with a small, but functional kitchenette. There was a TV in the living area as well as the bedroom. The bed was comfortable. The sofa bed was of typical sofa bed comfort (i.e. marginal). We will definitely stay there any chance we get in Denver and will be on the lookout for Towne Place Suites by Marriott as we travel to other places.

This was and excellent extended stay choice. The kitchenette was supplied sufficient for use (quick, very simple meals). The room was thoughtfully designed with lots of shelf space for clothing and plenty of hangers to accommodate two overpacked women. The bed was firm and comfortable with a reasonably sized pull out sofa. A full sized iron and ironing board was supplied and the laundry center was well equipped and reasonably priced ($*/wash, $*dry). My only complaint was that room was stocked with enough towels and coffee for one day but housekeeping replenished supplies every two days. The desk staff was young (20-somethings) but friendly and reasonably professional.
