  This is an older Holiday Inn Express and is quite a significant step down from most that I have stayed in. The rooms are a little bit too small as are the bathrooms. It's just older and I was surprised for what I got for the money. One plus was the hot breakfast downstairs. The selection was good, as was the food. Always nice to get free breakfast on vacation. So a stay here will probably depend on your needs.

  The rooms were nice but rather cramped and our view was of... some sort of an alley. the people who worked there were, for the most part, nice enough.

  This hotel is in a great location, walking distant to most attraction and great restaurants . Hotel staff very friendly, room cozy, clean..I would stay there again. It was for my birthday get away and I am very happy.

  Excellent service. they let me left the baggage without problem or cost. fast check in and check out. staff is very nice... will come back again.

  I would like to highly recommend this hotel. The first thing I want to mention is that the staff there, super nice and helpful and sincere. I am a Chinese so the front desk guy tried to say thank you in Chinese every time. He also greeted me even when I passed by the front desk. We checked out early at 5am in the morning, but breakfast started at 6:30am so the front desk girl went to the kitchen to get us some fruits and yogurt. I have never met such warm-hearted front desk. Location is perfect, with Bloomingdale in the front, a church in the back and a Trade & Joes aside. A lot of restaurants around. Michigan Ave is two blocks away, so it is close but not noisy. Breakfast is free and a lot of sofa and a TV in the dining room, creating a family-like phenomenon. Room is small though, the biggest con, but bathroom is huge. Overall, the hotel is really high quality-price ratio at this price range and this location.
