When you first arrive, the neighborhood looks a little rough, but my family and I never felt unsafe. There was a subway station within one block. If you have good walking shoes, you can walk to just about anywhere. The hotel staff was great and very helpful. We had a great veiw of the empire state building. I would stay there again.

My mother, daughter, and I had the pleasure of staying in the Broadway Plaza Hotel during a New York City vacation in March. We were very pleased with the accommodations - the hotel was clean, and the location was great. Although we were close to many popular attractions, the area was peaceful and quiet. Our room was comfortable, with plenty of space, and the bathroom had plenty of hot water! The hotel staff members were terrific - they delivered food to us from a nearby eatery our first night, helped us hail taxi cabs, and arranged nice yet affordable (and prompt) transportation for our return to the airport on our day of departure. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Broadway Plaza, look forward to staying there again, and highly recommend it to others!

Clean, comfortable hotel, but somewhat small and cramped. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Area seemed seedy by day, but very safe at night oddly enough. Close to a subway station. If you have big shoulders, you will not fit in the shower comfortably. A great value for the location. We would stay again!

Everyone from the doormen to the desk staff to the cleaning crews are polite, friendly and professional. The locale of the hotel is the perfect launching pad to traverse Manhattan. The close proximity to Madison Square Park and great shopping and dining AND entertainment is a highlight. I'd never stay anywhere but The Broadway Plaza, and enthusiastically recommend it to everyone.

Stayed here based on reviews I read & was not disappointed. Rooms were clean & spacious, w/a great view of the Empire State Bdlg. The concierge & front desk staff were very helpful & pleasant. Even helped with car arrangements to the airport when leaving. Would definitely stay here again & recommend to friends.
