I traveled to NYC with my son for a conference and a little vacation, we had a blast. The hotel is wonderful, yes there are street vendors outside the door - it's NY people! The entrance to the hotel is small and makes it difficult to evaluate from the exterior but once inside it is quite lovely. Our beds were awesome. The breakfast was too sweet for me, but they looked like the finest pastries around - generous sizes and delicious looking, I low carb so it wasn't for me with the exception of the coffee and fresh fruit. The bagels were beautiful and the pastries were huge! The staff was great. I couldn't understand why so many people said the Empire State Building was right out their window The ESB is 8 blocks away but that night as we lay down to sleep my son jumps up and screams "I know why people say the Empire State is right out their window!!" Sure enough it was lit up and the view was beautiful from our window. I had no complaints about this hotel and would gladly recommend it to friends or stay there again!

The hotel itself is not bad at all. However, when you step outside, you are bombarded by street hustlers trying to sell anything from dvd's to shoes to clothing. They arent violent, but extremely annoying.

Personnel was extremely nice. Continental breakfast was very good and fresh. We really liked this hotel, it was very clean and right in the middle of Manhattan for easy travel anywhere in the city. The only dislike was the shower was very small. Other than that one detail everything else was great! We would recommend this hotel to anyone and we would stay there again!

Not located on one of the nicer blocks of New York, but our room was quiet with a view of the Empire State Building. The room was large and had been renovated in the last couple of years. The service was supurb and the staff friendly. I will definately stay here again.

Being a new traveler to NYC, we were impressed with the NY door man, Vernon was very gracious to our family of 10 travelers. The front desk Liz was helpful too, because we were their 4 hours early and she had all our bags taken to storage until we could register. Our rooms were very roomy, and the bath room did us just fine. I think for first time travelers who don't want to pay a lot but is looking for comfort, Broadway Inn is just for you. This hotel is in the right walking distance of Time Square, Empire State Building, Madison Garden, and Grand Central Station, and shopping, shopping, shopping.
Mahalo Broadway Inn for your caring and giving of this Hawaiian Ohana Travelers...We will be back in 2009.
