Nice suite. Even had doors separating bedroom from living room. 2 TVs, both unfortunately were old school tube TVs. Had a nice balcony that overlooked the pool. Shower was coming apart from the wall and appears to have been screwed to the wall several times. Hot breakfast buffet each morning was amazing! The ability to print from our laptop to the business center at no additional charge was great! Overall, would recommend. Because of this stay, we chose the same brand Hyatt House in Carlsbad for a few days. We were sorely disappointed. It did not have a separation from the main room and living room and the pull out bed when pulled out actually touched the main bed.

Our soccer team stayed at the Woodfin and had a fabulous time. The staff were very attentive and friendly, everything went exceptionally well! The rooms were very clean and comfortable and accomodated our team perfectly. We had about 12 rooms booked and it was very convenient for our various family sizes. The location was great, about 15 - 20 minutes to everywhere we needed to go, anything you wanted to eat within 5 miles. Very relaxed, family oriented atmosphere, and still very professional. The manager called a week prior to our arrival to make breakfast arrangements and ensure that our team had their breakfast at whatever time was necessary (0630)! We throughly enjoyed our stay and would like to go back to San Diego just to stay at the Woodfin!

My husband and I took my 13 year old niece to San Diego in March 2008. We stayed at the Woodfin for a week and it was very enjoyable. The room was great. Very spacious. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant as there are many places to eat in La Jolla which is very close by (as is al grocery store to bring stuff back to cook in the suite). The only complaint I have is the people staying above us must have had little kids that felt the need to run and play and stomp around at 10 pm at night and back up again at 6 am. I let it go the first night, and the second, but by the third I made a call to the front desk who must have said something to them because it stopped. My husband and niece enjoyed the pool and hot tub. No charge for parking!

This hotel was incredible! We reserved a standard room which was comfortable w/o wasting space and had a nice big bathroom with full bathtub. The staff were incredible and made us feel welcome even though we were dressed in California casual and the majority of the other guests were television and radio celebrities. Restaurant was worth every penny and the wine tours were an incredible value.
