Important Hotel Information
- Guests must be 21 years old to check into the hotel. All adult guests must be registered with proper identification. Hotel key required to access hotel guest elevator. Credit card required at check-in.
- 25 per person charge for each person over 2 guests per room. Maximum occupancy 4 people per room. This charge is payable directly to the hotel at check-in.
- Tropicana does not permit coolers or excessive amounts of food and beverage to be brought into the hotel.
- Self Parking is 10 per stay and Valet Parking is 15 per stay. Health Club is 10 per day.
- The indoor pool will be closed February 26, 2013 and March 5, 2013.

We arrived on a Tuesday night for a 3 day stay. Very pleased with check in- went quickly and staff very pleasant. Valet parked our car, forget that phone was left in car, they quickly brought car around and phone was retrieved. Everyone very helpful and pleasant. Great price on room. When asked for ocean view, pleasantly provided us a room with it with no additional cost. Spoke with other people staying at hotel and they paid a whole lot more then we did.

Overall it was OK. I was a little disappointed at the check-in. It took us over an hour to get checked in. The floors in the hallway were dirty. I never saw them cleaned the entire time we were there. We booked oceanfront rooms, but were placed in the West Tower overlooking the Roof to the front of the hotel with the bright lights shining in our windows at night. No directions were given on how to get to our rooms. As the Tropicana is a large hotel and casino and you have to go through the casino to get to the rooms, we had no idea as to how to get to our rooms. Once we found our rooms, they were OK. Plenty to do in the hotel just wish the staff was more accomodating and explained how things worked and where things were instead of assuming you knew.

Our family has stayed at the Tropicana over the past three years and we just love it. All the shopping, eating and entertainment all in one place. But best of all, the beach. We have now made it our official summer vacation hot spot. We vacation there from Monday - Friday and have never had any problems. The rooms are very clean, beds very comfortable and the service great. We stay in the West Tower and wouldnt have it any other way.

Our family has stayed at the Tropicana over the past three years and we just love it. All the shopping, eating and entertainment all in one place. But best of all, the beach. The Hotel was very very nice but the elevators were horrible. It took forever to get to anf rom your room. The only time we had no problems with the elevators were early in the morning, otherwise they were times we had to wait a half hour to get up to our room.
